The Taste of the Sea at Trawler Trash, Islington

Seafood | 28 Apr 2017

Islington's new seafood restaurant calls itself "underrated" in its menu selection and its decor. Often-overlooked fish like grey mullet and crayfish are on the menu, and the vibe of the restaurant follows suit with the true look of a wet fish market.

The wine menu is all fish-friendly, of course, and you can find a number of IPAs and other light beers that pair well with the dishes. There is a select cocktail menu that are meant to bring out the best in your entree including a grapefruit tarragon-spiced gin and tonic.

You’ll shell out £5-9 for small plates and £10-15 for larger plates while good bottles of wine start at a reasonable £22.
