Holy Margherita! 5,000 free pizzas at Rudy’s Sheffield

Sheffield City Centre is about to be treated to an all-new authentic neighbourhood pizzeria located on Division Street in June. The original Rudy’s in Manchester was the first to launch in 2015 and the brand has gone from strength to strength since. As well its original Ancoats site, you can now find a Rudy’s in London, Liverpool and Birmingham. As well as the Leeds outpost, of course.

…it’s all about the authenticity

What sets Rudy’s apart from the rest is that the ingredients, such as the San Marzano tomatoes grown on fields next to Mount Vesuvius no less, and the Fior di Latte mozzarella, is flown in twice a week from Naples. The true home of pizza.

It’s an early start for the team as the dough is made fresh on-site daily and cooked in wood-fired ovens (of course) for just 60 seconds. And there we have it, soft and delicious crusty goodness with that familiar leopard-pattern for good measure.

Victoria, General Manager of Rudy’s Pizza Sheffield was quoted as saying: “We’re really excited to bring Rudy’s to Sheffield and get to know the local community. It won’t be long before we are able to fire up the oven and serve delicious Neapolitan pizza. As a team, we can’t wait to become part of city life.”

…what’s in it for you?

By way of a celebration, Rudy’s is giving you the chance to devour a Neapolitan pizza on them. Victoria and the team are offering up 5,000 pizzas, and all you have to do is sign up on their website and they’ll holler closer to the opening date.
